Abstract

This paper is concerned with learning the technology and programming of industrial robots. A TAL TR-2
articulated robot is used in this paper. In this paper we are studying operation and programming of the robot
manipulator and controller hardware by carrying out trials on TAL TR2 robot. The programming for this is been done
with the help of teach pad in RobWin7 software. A set of trials are produced for pick and place application. This paper
also contains study the mechanism of software control of the robot and various types of programming viz. manual, lead
through programming.
